i bought an upgrade mobile phone today. when i swapped the sim card from my old phone to my new phone (they were both simlocked to O2), i assumed all my numbers would be transferred to my new phone. however only a handful of phone numbers seem to have been stored on the sim card.
in additon, when i put a different simcard into my old phone, most of my original numbers and some messages were still on the phone.
can someone explain this to me? i thought all personal data were saved to your own simcard and to your simcard alone?

put you new Sim in you old phone go to my setting and transfer numbers from phone to Sim.then put the Sim into new phone and transfer Sim to phone, change Sims and copy to Sim again. when adding a new number the phone should give you the option of saving to phone or Sim. hope that helps.
confussed so am I. When you save phone numbers they give you the option of saving it to phone or sim, that is why some transfered and some didn%26#39;t
