Samsung e330,cant get data cable to d/load photos to pc?

data cable i have says e700 on it but guy in shop insists compatible.cant seem to access anything on software.done updates etc etc,all the cable seems to be doing is charging my phone

loads of photos i just cant access

is this the right cable i have,do i need other software.anyone help or had similar probs

D520 / D508 / D600 / D820 / E900 / P300 / Z150 / Z510 / D800 / Z400 ok, did you install the drivers and the software ? not sure about your phone but on most samsungs there is an option for usb settings on your phone ( usually in phone settings but could be elsewhere.) check to see if there is then select either " modem " or " pc studio ".
