Sending pics via cell phone?

I have cingular (at%26t). Does it cost money to send pics from my phone to an e-mail address if I have unlimted text?

It will charge you Data Transfer Rate, it%26#39;s $0.01 per kilobyte. It doesn%26#39;t sound like that much, but it can get expensive. So for example, it you send a Megabyte worth of pictures it%26#39;s going to cost you $10.24 (1024 kilobytes in a megabyte).

The actual Message part of the Picture message is free, since you have unlimited Messages.

Hope this helps. If you have unlimited texting to anyone in any network then its free! If you have unlimited text then that only covers text messaging. You have to have unlimited picture messaging to send as many pictures as you want for free. If you have unliminted picture messages then it doesn%26#39;t cost any more to send to an email address than it does to a cell phone. Text msg is SMS, sending pictures is MMS. If you insert a picture into a message, it is not text, it%26#39;s MMS. Maybe a data feature added to your contract would help pay for MMS.
