Ringtone??

Is there anyway when someone calls your phone you have a certain song that plays instead of the ringing? I%26#39;ve heard my friends phones do that but I don%26#39;t know if mine can. I would only like it to have a special ring for a certain number that calls me. Thanks peeps!

Answers:

It is totally possible. It depends on what type of phone you have. If you haven%26#39;t gotten a new cell phone in about 5 years, you most likely won%26#39;t be able to do it.

What you need to do is go into your address book, edit the person you want a personal ringtone on. Scroll down until it says something along the lines of Ringtone, select that, it will open your sounds (ringtones). Select the one that you want to be used for that person. Save your changes. And your done.

Keep in mind that if you are using a GSM Carrier (ATT or T-Mobile) you have to make sure that your contacts are saved to your phone, not your SIM card.

Now that is a pretty generic explanation on how it%26#39;s done, without knowing what type of phone you have. If you give us a heads up on what type of phone you have and who is your carrier we can get a little more specific. From your contacts choose the person you want to assign the ringer to. Go to edit, ringer, select ringer and then assign a ringtone for the contact. save and exit. this website should have what you%26#39;re looking for. i always use it
