Problem with mobile phone PIN code?

I just moved to the UK from Spain and got a mobile phone today with Orange. It doesn%26#39;t ask for a PIN number but I want to establish one so people can%26#39;t use my phone. In Spain, they%26#39;d give you a PIN number, but I don%26#39;t have one anywhere and my cousin said you%26#39;re s%26#39;posed to establish it yourself so I tried putting in one I made up but it said "PIN incorrect, 2 attempts left", so obviously there is a PIN no but I don%26#39;t know which one. Can anyone tell me where to find my PIN number, I only have one more attempt left to enter the PIN.

Answers:

default pin is usually 0000 should tell you in your manual. If you enter it wrong again twice, it will lock your sim card and you won%26#39;t be able to use it read the manual it shuld have your pin It%26#39;s normally 0000 or passwords are 0000000

Look through manual it should say it GO 2 THE BIT OF PAPER THAT U GOT UR SIM FROM IT SAYS UR PIN ON IT AND THE BOTTEM. Try these... 0000 or 1234 you havent said what kind of phone you have but i know the samsung default is 00000000 ( 8 x 0 )
