Alright so i have a phone ( sorta like a sidekick 3) but ive had it for a while and its starting to get old! very very old! and i really want the Side kick 3! but my faimly already has a faimly plan with verizion ( i dont think there is any way to buy a sk3 and use it on verizion but if there is tell me !) but anyways we already have a plan and it will cost 2 or 3 hundred bucks to get me out of it! ive tried a bunch of ideas to my dad but he wont budge about the subject, so could u please give me ideas on how to get on or how to convince him to let me get one!?!?!?!?!?

Sorry, but I%26#39;m pretty sure he doesn%26#39;t want to pay early termination fees just so you can have a Sidekick.
There%26#39;s NO way to make a Sidekick work with Verizon. Verizon%26#39;s phones and network are CDMA, which doesn%26#39;t use sim cards, as I%26#39;m sure you know by now. Sidekicks are GSM phones, which require a sim card in order to work. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other. Even if you somehow manage to unlock one or get an unlocked one, it will never work with a CDMA carrier. Tell him you will get a job and pay for it yourself. My daughter just got one and she paid for it.. 249 big ones... There is no way I would spend that much on a stupid phone so she paid for it herself... she wanted it that bad, and I didn%26#39;t...
