Question on text messaging on cell phone?

i dont know what plan i got but my question is,, is there a fee for (receiving) text messages on my cell phone?? (not sending)

Answers:

What phone company do you have? If you have a pre-paid phone, they are usually like... 10 cents to recieve, and 25 cents to send.

If you have a plan, and you don%26#39;t have text messaging on your plan, then yes, there is a fee for receiving and sending. yes either it is included in your bundle. 100 txt messAGES

sent and received. A lot of phones charge for receiving messages, yes. Yes. Your using airtime with texts! Yea Unless U Have Unlimted

TExt Messages Yes, they all charge now. It just differs from company to company. I think t-mobile is 5 cents to receive. Sprint, Verizon, and AT%26T I believe are 10 cents. It depends on your plan, a lot of them have it for free but a lot still charge. Call your cell phone company to find out for sure. unless you have cricket. all companies charge incoming and outgoing messages. so if you have 50 and someone sends you 25 and you reply 25 thats it youre done. if you have tmobile get unlimited for 14.99 and i think cingular/at%26t is around 19.99 If you have a plan, then there probably isnt any fee because you are already paying a certain amount per month. There might be a fee if you go over your texting limit. yes
