I just recently got a Nokia 6085 model and every time I attempt to connect to the internet it says; "Subscribe to packet data first, link not available" and I am unable to connect, I have searched threw the book and i cant find any help on that, please someone help!

You should call your service provider with this one. Most often, phone companies block the internet connection when the subscriber doesn%26#39;t include the %26#39;internet service%26#39; option in their monthly plan- they do this b/c most often, people aren%26#39;t aware that you have to sign up for this feature to use it.
hope this helped. Good luck. you data network could be down in your area. Have you subscribed to it when you ordered the phone? You may have to call and have it added to your account. Also pull off your battery and pull out sim card. Then after a few minutes re-sit both of them back in the phone. Power up and you should be good. Try taking out the battery and or the SIM card leave it out for at least 5mins. Some Tech guy at cingular told me that does a reset on the phone. Dont worry your address book and numbers will still be there. are you covered for it? try customer service
