Question about cell phone minutes?

what do rollover minutes mean? cuz i currently have no mins left but when i ask to view my minutes its says this RO:1,218

what does that mean?

Answers:

you must be on cingular, who (as far as i know) is the only company with rollover minutes. how those are supposed to work is: whatever minutes you didn%26#39;t use in previous months are supposed to carry over into the next month(s) to cover you in case you run out of minutes (like you seem to have done). if you need further clarification, stop by your local cell phone provider to get the EXACT details of your plan.

hope that at least helped a little. ok you have a rate plan

exapmple mine is 450 mintues per month day time Unlimited nights and weekends, anytime until 9 at night you use those 450 minutes, unless its the weekend or you have mobile to mobile..

now at the end of your billing cycle, any of those 450 min, u have not used goes over into what is called rollover minutes,

if you have a month you go over your 450 min. b4 you are charged overage charges it will take away from your rollover ...

moreless if you go over your 450 min, until you talk and use all of those 1, 218 you will not be charged overages.

now those rollover do expire one year from the month you got them, so any rollover you aquired from july come july of next year if you have not used them you will loose them, its sort of a checks and balance system.

talk your heart out tho! if you have that many rollover, bc they cant charge u anything overages until you have used all of those as well!!
